In late October 2009 I started my weight loss journey six to seven weeks after I had given birth to my youngest daughter Zoey. Zoey was admitted to the hospital on Nov 16th, exactly 3 months old. She was released on Dec 1st with no explanation of her illness. Here in March we are just figuring out how her body is working. Her medical ups and downs have taken a toll on my health. I've stressed myself sick, I've over indulged, I've gone without eating among many other unhealthy ways of living.
Zoey is now in somewhat of a clear and I feel like I can breath. I can breath to take care of myself. I can try to piece back the puzzle of my weight loss journey.
The picture in my above ticker was before Zoey was admitted. I am exactly ten pounds heavier. I want to have my life back. My healthy lean life. Granted I was 17 when I had gotten pregnant with my first daughter. I am now 24 and been through six pregnancies that have resulted in 3 children. I am ready to gain some control on my weight. With each child I have never allowed myself time to lose the pregnancy weight. This time is different. This time I want it more than ever. More so I am the mother of 3 girls and I feel like I can enjoy them without needing another baby.
Here are some goals I have made for each day of the week.
The goals are small but they are goals. I need a starting point.
Here is to the new beginning for me!
